For sale one owner garage kept extra clean. This car has been driven very little it must have been taken out out 6-10 times a year. I have the pleasure of listing this car for a good friend of mine. I just had the car fully detailed inside and out. I also had a new BMW battery installed on 06/2010. There is one minor problem with the odometer reading. There was a typo at the emissions test back in 07/2004. When the owner took the car in at the Skokie location in Illinois, the technician on duty added an extra zero to the actual mileage. At that time the car had (7,000) miles. I have been driving the car for the past week and I must say the car drives and handles just like new. Everything on the car is in perfect condition, the only item that does not work is part of the radio light which i took a picture of. I also took pictures of the engine compartment to show how clean the engine components are. I called the state at 847-758-3400 and spoke with a rep there and told her our problem. She said that she could not do anything from her end because there is a new company the took over the Illinois Vehicle Inspections. And for that reason they don't have any way to ajust the odometer reading from 2004. The good news out of all this is the i found another report dated 07/10/2006 and the odometer reading says 9000 miles. So how could the car have 70000 miles on 09/10/2004 it is impossible :) also this car has never been any accident all the panel have the original vin # stamp on them. On Jun-23-10 at 10:33:16 PDT, seller added the following information: As of wed/23/2010 i went back to the skokie location where the car was originally inspected back in 2004. What the basically told me is that the car is due for a new inspection and with that you should have the correct miles reported to Car Fax. The car passed with flying colors even though the cars odometer reads around 13400 they put down 13000 just so everything is OK Further more i went and made and appointment with Fields BMW and explained my problem the service writer was very helpful and understood the problem they inspected the odometer and noted in the paper work that the car has indeed 13421 miles. Im re listing this item for the third time thanks to Mr ghatto213vcu, he won the item but did not respond or pay for it . Please have the funds ready to pay before. Thank you and happy bidding.
