Up for bids is this 1967 Buick GS 400 coupe. I purchased this vehicle from the second owner (woman)and am offering it for sale here before I decide to restore it. The GS has a completely rebuilt numbers matching 400 engine that runs great. No smoke,noises,etc. Motor has vin stamped on right engine pad. The transmission is the switch pitch turbo 400. It works fine and is a 67-BA coded trans that I am sure is original but haven't looked for the vin on it. The rear seal on the trans drips and should be replaced. I was told the whole drivetrain was original to the car and believe it to be true. The body was redone about 15 years ago and has filler in spots. Unsure of the extent. The paint is flaking off in spots and it has a primered hood and rear deck panel due to the paint peel problem. The trunk floor was patched at sometime. The frame,floors look good from what I can see. Car has Lakewood traction bars and complete dual exhaust that is in good shape. It sounds good! The interior needs some work as well. The headliner is falling down in spots. The carpet was changed. The dash had a poor recovering job. The door panels and front seats were changed out for some reason. The original door panels are included and in good shape. The original buckets are included as well but need to be completely redone. The car has a factory console with Buick mounted tach. The shifter was changed to a B&M model but the original is included and will need work as well Now is your chance to buy a numbers matching big block Buick Gran Sport...CHEAP!!!!!
