1972 Classic Mercedes Benz 280 Sel Sedan This is a Beautiful example of a Classic 1972 Mercedes Benz 280 Sel Sedan Here we have a "rare find" that was found "as is" in a barn sitting for 25 years. This particular model is very hard to come by. The car runs very well and has its original 4.5 V8 Engine The Automatic Transmission shifts well and the overall ride is fantastic. The Exterior is a Dark Blue and the Interior is also Dark Blue. The Dash is in good shape and the Wood Work on the dash is also in nice shape as well. The overall interior and door panels are in very good condition with no rips or tares. The wood trim on 3 windows will require replacement and there is a dime size hole in the headliner near the a rear of the drivers seat. Once these 2 items are fixed, the Interior will be in excellent shape. The Exterior of the car seems to be rust free and there has been repair work done underneath sometime in the past from what I can see. To the naked eye, the body looks straight and the paint shines well for a car sitting this long. The air conditioning needs to be charged. The Brakes work fine , the power windows work fine, as well as the central lock system. The Radio turns on but needs an antennae. The car comes with 4 speakers ,a spare tire, and jack, and its original owners manual booklet. This is a 1972 Classic that is in the kind of condition that you can get in and drive and enjoy.
