Up for sale is a 1999 BMW 740i. I'm listing this car for my nephew. He bought the car a couple years back & had great service with it, til a couple months back when the timing chain guides wore to the point of causing timing chain noise. He took the car to a repair facility, the repair shop has partially torn down the engine, the part is $90, but the repair labor is more than he's willing to pay. In the meantime he has purchased another vehicle & just wants to sell this car as-is(without being repaired).The car ran & drove excellent before this. All power options work, transmission shifts smooth, tires are only 6 mos old, a/c blows ice cold, stereo & cd changer work perfect. This car would be an easy fix for someone familiar with Beemers, or an excellent parts car. Paint is original & in great condition.
