For Sale is this beautiful 2004, classic black and chrome Honda Shadow. I have owned this motorcycle since December, 2005 (1,300 miles when purchased), and it has been a great bike. Most of the 39,540 mileage has been on trips to Northern California (twice), Mount Rainier, WA., Yellowstone Natl. Park, Banff, Canada, and, this past month, Rocky Mountain National Park. It has been extremely reliable and still has many thousands of miles left to give its new owner. Last year, I replaced the tires and there is still 70% tread on them. Before the Banff trip last year, I also replaced the battery. The bike has been well cared for and is current with the owner's manual for all fluids including brake, coolant, oil, and filters. I have run synthetic oil in it for the past 23k miles. There is no rust on it and the finish and chrome are good. California registration is current until March, 2011. The only flaw is a silver-dollar sized dent on the right rear of the gas tank. I'm not sure how it got there but I think the bike was backed into by a parked car that knocked it over and the tank got the dent from the curb. I live close to a "seniors" community and they all don't drive so good. There is no chipped paint around the dent, but it's there.
