Up for sale here is a 1969 Ford F100 Ranger Custom Cab. I want to start off by saying that the paint is NOT shiny as the pictures may make it appear. I washed the truck off before I took the pics but didnt want to wait until it dried. This is a very solid truck in desperate need of a good owner to restore it. It is all original-except the paint. At some point a previous owner painted it red, over the factory green. The engine was running when it was parked a while back but need some freshening up-not sure if it needs a full rebuild or not. The buyer will have to trailer it. The interior is in pretty good shape, except the radio area. An aftermarket had been put in there and not very handily-there is a picture of this area below. There is some rust in the bed, pictures below. Its not rusted out, but there are a couple of places that will need mended or patched. I didnt see any holes that were bigger than a dime. I got under the truck and there is surface rust on the frame but I didnt see anything rusted through anywhere. The engine bay is in pretty good shape except the battery tray, it will need replaced-picture of that area is below. I've looked at a lot of these trucks and this one is better than most I've seen as far as rust is concerned. The only reason I'm selling this one is because I have a 65 and a 79 waiting in line for restoration so this is the odd man out. Restored, this will be a head turner for sure. I love that shade of green and the parchment interior is the nicest they ever had. The trim is all in good shape, the tailgate opens and closes easily, the doors open easily and shut solidly. All of the windows roll up and down, the vent windows work fine. The windshield will need to be replaced but all other glass is perfect. If you want a 60s truck to restore but not fight alot of rust (maybe a little), then this is the truck for you!!
