Up for auction is my Willys wagon. This trucks story is a interesting one. This truck received a lot of work quite a few years ago. The original frame was discarded and replaced with 1959 chevy truck rails. The original axles and drive train were then put onto the stronger chassis. The truck was used a few years then it was left sitting for several years until I bought it. We drug it home and started bringing it back to life. First was to get the original super hurricane flat head six cylinder running again. We removed the gas tank and cleaned and treated it. Installed a electric fuel pump and rebuilt the original carb. We then replaced the ignition system with all new parts. Coil, points, condenser, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. We then rewired the entire truck from front to back as well as converted it to 12V. Replaced all of the lights and switches as well as installed all new gauges except the original mechanical speedometer. Then it got a fully rebuilt one wire GM alternator. After the electrical came the fluids. We changed all of the fluids in the engine, three speed manual transmission, transfer case, and both differentials. The radiator was then removed leak checked and cleaned and rodded out. A new water pump and thermostat , new hoses and belt and it was running. Next had to get it to stop. We removed all of the wheels and got into the brakes. We rebuilt all the wheel cylinders. Flushed the lines and replaced the master cylinder. Bled the system and went for the first drive. The wagon ran awesome. We went off road right away and had a blast. This thing will climb a wall if you want it too. Since the first run we have done several other things to the truck. Installed camaro bucket seats. Added a jerry can and high lift jack. This truck is fun to drive both on and off road. It is fully street legal with turn signals and all the lights. Everything is new and works great. But really where this wagon is the most fun is off road. The four wheel drive works great and is really impressive for such a old truck. This truck comes with all of the original seats as well as all of the glass minus one rear sliding window. We removed the glass to help cool it down inside out here in the desert. The body has some dents and some very minimal rust starting around the rear wheel wells but overall is in good shape. It comes with a clean and clear Nevada title. And is titled as a 1959 chevy truck. The vin tag from the truck is on the Willys as well. This is a great classic on off road toy and a steal at this price as well. I require a non refundable $500.00 deposit within 24hours of auction end. The remainder of the payment no later than 7 days from auction end. No exceptions.
