Vehicle Detail

****** Auction ******* 1976 911 S targa Very Nice Condition ~ please know I am representing this car for a friend. I know this car very well.. The vin describes this car as a "s" and the car is badged 'sc' which I'm not sure how to explain, perhaps during previous paint work someone badged it sc? I was pretty sure that sc's came out later in 1978, I state this to clarify that we are not misrepresenting this as an 'sc' but as an 's' like it is. The car performs outstanding and has a file folder of documentation thru years of upkeep incl. COMPLET Engine Rebuild @ 141k Speedo Reman, Targa Top, COMPLETE Interior reupholster and carpet, visors, adj "Koni" Front Struts , Rear brakes;calipers, rotors, hoses, pads.etc short throw shifter, NICE audio system w/amp and sub.channel Fuel Dist.rebuild, new Fuel Pump, new Warm-up Regulator and Tune-Up of plugs and wire set( Most Recent ) Beautiful Paint work! base/clear although I don't know the age of the paint however it is a very good job. tires and bbs wheels in very good cond.w/ center caps etc in place. car cover included (stored in bonnet) a rust free Garage kept car. the sad day has come to part with the beloved 911, trying to find it a good home. there is no warr.expressed or implied.as well this car is for sale locally and can be pulled from this auction at anytime. The trouble with ebay in my experience is that nobody tells you what is wrong with the car..I'll make an honest effort to correct this! I drove it and can report these following 'less than perfect things' First things first, it's got a ton of new parts but is still not 'new' it's a 76 ya know? there's a rattle in shifter linkage intermittantly (seems very minor),also the drivers door 'clicks' when you open it, the door brake has been repl. so I guess the fastener in the jamb is at fault, the high-beam indicator works tho very dim. From looking under the car a front swaybar link (short pc) on one side of the car that could have been damaged from a tow.also once it 'paused'during a start, but may not have hit the starter switch all the way. It has worked perfectly since I've tried to repeat the issue. other than that..it's just a fun car that works nicely. I can answer any questions via email Thank you and good luck with the auction:)
