Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is my 1976 Monte Carlo. I bought it last summer from a gentleman in Scottsdale Arizona and had it shipped to me here in Northeast Illinois. My original plan was to use it as a daily driver, well, when I saw it I didn't have the heart to do it and treated as it deserved instead. I'm only selling it now because I've joined the ranks of the unemployed. It has 77137 original miles. Its all original, down to the numbers matching 2 barrel 350/th350. The car has been repainted at one time in original lacquer as can be expected on an Arizona car. The interior is incredible and except for two small cracks in the dash pad off to the side (see pic), its like brand new. I thought for sure the carpet had been replaced until one time when vacuuming I found (and accidentally removed) the original manufacturing tag under the driver's seat showing its manufacture date of 1975.(see pic) It has power windows, cruise(inop), air conditioning(converted to r-134 and working), rear defog (blower style), tilt, orig am/fm 8 track player that works. It's trunk looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line. All of the cardboard trunk floor extensions are nice and in place. The matching spare, jack, tools, and even spare fan belts are there. The tires are in great shape 8/32 or so. It runs and drives like a new car and gets a ton of attention everywhere it goes. It seems everyone has had one of these or at least knew someone with one at one time or another because everyone wants to come up to me and tell their Monte Carlo story. I've taken this car on several long trips with the family and it never missed a beat and is a great highway car. I should mention that the passenger front seatbelt is stuck and the shoulder belt has been disconnected from it so the seat can be folded forward. I never looked into it because its one of those out of sight/ out of mind kind of things. I can assist with a delivery company if you so desire. I hope I covered everything. If you have any questions feel free to ask or better yet stop by and take a look if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed.
