This is a 2000 Dodge Neon in very nice condition. I purchased this car 4 years ago (from Jim Pace Pontiac in Ohio) with 70,000 miles on it, for my very responsible daughter to drive to school. Now that she is in college out of state, I would simply like to upgrade to a little larger and nicer car for my wife and I. The car currently has 124,500 miles on it and has been maintained regularly (oil, plugs and filter changes) and has never been in the shop for any mechanical problems. In the 4 years I have owned it, I have replaced all 4 tires, all 4 struts, and the front and rear sway bar bushings. That's about it. The engine runs great and the transmission shifts smoothly and the air conditioning and heat work great too The only thing that doesn't seem to always work is the horn. Also when I get the oil changed, I always ask my mechanic to put a dab of sealant on the drain bolt as it will tend to drip without it. I've tried various washers, but they don't seem to work as well as a dab of sealant. The car has a rust spot on the hood-(front left corner by headlight). A new already primed hood is $150 plus another $150 dollars to have a finish coat painted on it. I bought the car with the rust spot on the hood though.
