1991 Mercedes SL 500 Custom Teal paint, very beautiful head turner Convertible with matching hardtop Power Everything! Runs and drives excellent Interior is also in exceptional condition, dual power seats This is a very, very nice car! Up for bidding is a very nice 1991 Mercedes SL500. This car has factory "custom" teal paint which was an additional "add on" when this car was purchased new. The paint is in excellent condition. The engine runs perfect, just like one would expect a Mercedes to run! You will not find any dents or dings in this car and really no stone chips have I found! The transmission shifts very smooth with no slippage or hesitation. The tires are very good having approx. 80% of the tread left. Full size spare in trunk. Wheels have AMG center inserts in them and the Mercedes inserts are in the trunk so you can have the original as well. Convertible top has just had a new motor and relays installed and works superbly. The factory color matched hardtop (shown) is in perfect shape and does not leak! Mechanically, you will not find anything wrong with this little jewel. The interior is also exceptional. There is only 1 flaw in the drivers seat where the seam is starting to come loose. It is really no big deal and is an easy fix for very little money. I do not believe the factory carpeting has ever had a foot on them as there is no sign of wear or any stains whatsoever on them. They look brand new. The dash is also perfect with no cracks or fading of any kind. The radio comes on but for some reason the sound does not come out of the speakers? Probably something very simple! The convertible top is in great shape with the exception of some clouding in the plastic windows, this is very normal for a car of this year. I would probably plan on having new clear plastic sewn in to make the top perfect. As you can see from the photos, the front bottom spoiler has a crack on each side. Guess those curbs really are there for a reason. LOL. This can probably be fixed very easily. Other than these items, you will not find anything wrong with this car. It has been well kept over the years and I would not hesitate to drive her anywhere. She turns heads wherever she goes. The car is priced to sell with a very, very fair reserve price.
