You're bidding on an original, unrestored 1952 BMW R51/3. This motorcycle has been in storage for many many years and is (very reluctantly) being offered for sale. The engine turns over nicely and I am VERY confident that it could be a running riding machine with very little mechanical work. It is very complete with the exception of the air filter cover, one carburetor top assembly, tail light lense, battery and a few body fasteners and other small nuts and bolts. The engine and frame #s match, and a BMW factory shop manual and owners manual are also included. Again, this motorcycle has never been restored and it is almost 60 years old. There are some dents, dings and scratches but overall it is a very solid and very correct unit. Please look at all the pictures and ask questions.
