This is a fine example of BMW's wonderful Boxer engined real world sport bike. It was purchased from a BMW dealer in 2008 who took it as a trade-in with 4400 miles. It now has a little over 19,200 miles, maintained exactly per the factory service/inspection schedule. Never crashed, dropped, abused, or ridden on a track. It is perfect mechanically and the only cosmetic defect is an almost imperceptible fine crack in the rider's seat covering in a contoured groove. The 66 y/o seller rides a '05 GS with 102K miles, and just bought an RT for serious touring, thus the R1200S will be sold. It is equipped with all of the factory options available in 2007, e.g. ABS, heated grips, Ohlins shocks, and the 6" rear wheel for a 190 section tire. The only modification has been the installation of a Heli-Bar riser kit, the original bars are included. The battery has been replaced. The bike sports new Michelin Pilot Powers and it runs Honda's premium synthetic blend oil which exceeds BMW's oil specification. Buyer is responsible for shipping.
