1929 Ford Model A Rumble Seat Coupe with dual sidemounts offered at No Reserve! Up for auction is this nice all original 1929 Model A. It is the normal 4 cylinder with a manual 3 speed transmission. Frame off restoration done 8-9 years ago. Everything was redone at that time. Body is solid with no patch panels. All steel, no glass. Paint is 8-9 years old, with some minor cracking/blistering, but no dents. Fenders are very nice and look like new. Six new tires with about 200 miles on them with nicely painted rims. The glass is all good, windows function properly. The top is nice as well with no cracks or tears. Has a nicely redone rumble seat area with the seat redone also. New bumpers front and rear look nice. Lights, gauges and Ahooga horn are all working, along with the spark advance and throttle. Brakes work well, no pulling in either direction. Emergency brake holds car still. Wooden luggage rack on the rear. Underneath is painted nicely and very clean as you can see from the pictures. Dash has cracks in the paint. There is one rust spot on the right hand running board behind the side mount. I think water gathers there. Mileage is listed as 95,500 as that what was on the old broken speedometer. Summer tune-up just completed, with the following done: · New muffler · New gas gauge · New ignition switch · New ammeter · New (rebuilt) speedometer · New speedometer cable · New leakless water pump · New fan belt · New gas cap · New spark plugs · New distributor upper body, cap, coil wire and rotor · Carburetor rebuilt · Radiator flushed and refilled with Prestone 50-50 · Engine oil change No Reserve: This is a No Reserve auction.
