1929 Ford Model A pick up . Previously owned for 20 years by same owner who has informed me that the truck was restored when he had bought it. This truck has a clean and clear title. This is a ten footer ( an older restoration) that is rust free ( after lifting the seat, found no rust in floor). All steel fenders, solid frame and body. Wood is in good shape in box. No leaks, and the truck drives A-1 with no smoke. All the glass is good except the rear window has cracks. The windows go up and down with no drag and the doors open and shut easy and tight. There is a minor exhaust leak from the manifold gasket that is an easy fix as video will show. The clutch shifts smooth with no chatter and the transmission is very solid. The brakes are good with no pull or pulsation. The steering is tight and handles great. The tires will hold air with good tred but are old with some dry rot. For parades or local driving, my opinion is that they are fine, but for long tours, should be replaced. All gauges ( gas, amps, ) work fine except speedometer cable should be replaced, the miles are unknown. The lights and horn work, the original door knobs, the original door handles, gas cap, radiator cap, bumpers and ford emblems I believe are original. The headlights, and radiator shell are black which are factory correct ( most have been replaced with after market chrome.) . The tailgate pins are also factory correct. I have set my reserve well below the market values for this truck to ensure good bidding. This truck should sell above the reserve.
