This was purchased earlier this year as a "fill-in" car until I found the one I wanted. It has served me well and now it's time to sell. The mileage may vary by the time you buy this because I drive it daily. Please look at the photos as you get exactly what you see in them. This is an EXCELLENT driving car! Handles curves just as it was designed and you can adjust the suspension from regular driving to SPORT at the flick of a switch. The 4.0 liter 6-cylinder JAG engine has plenty of power and the transmission shifts smoothly. The Bridgestone tires have over 80% tread remaining and all still have most of the little rubber "hairs" still attached. NEW BRAKES and ROTORS all around! (Maintenance records go with the car.) Here are some known issues: Radio works, but needs the Jaguar-dealer-provided code to be activated. The passenger and both rear doors can be opened only from the inside of the car. Don't know why the outer handles won't engage. The Air Conditioner works great and blows COLD for about a week; then, it must be recharged with a can of R134a refrigerant ($9.00 at Wal-Mart). I'm sure there is a leak in the system somewhere. The driver's seat has a tear in the leather on the bottom cushion. (See the photos.) Otherwise, the rest of the interior is in nice condition. The headliner sags a little just behind the sunroof (above the rear passenger's heads). Sometimes the electric sun-roof won't close all the way and you must use the hand-crank (included) to close it. At initial start up there is a belt-squeal. Then, it goes away after a few seconds. The car was repainted a few years ago. Paint is holding up fine and looks good. It's interesting what you learn after listing a car on eBay. I just noticed that this car is listed as being repossessed in 2001; and had an accident in 2005 - center rear impact. (That may account for the full body repaint.) The car seems to be in nicer condition than would be expected for the history. Power windows and seats work as they should; No lights or warning messages on the dash while in operation; No overheating; all lights and signals work as they should; new floor carpets in the front with the JAGUAR logo; Owner's Manual with other documents shown are INCLUDED. Yes, the interior wood trim on the dash is supposed to look like that. Overall the wood is in good condition. I don't know the name of the pattern. But, it would appear to be something of a "Glossy Distressed" look. Just a good-looking daily driver ready for the next owner.
