1982 Honda Ascot FT 500 For sale is my Ascot 500, the perfect starter motorcycle for anyone. These bike are just plain fun. Easy to ride and pretty darn capable back road runners. I purchased this bike about 4 years ago off of EBAY and got what I expected, an unmolested Ascot that somehow was not snatched up by the people who used to road race these bikes. When I received it, the bike was decent but not up to my standards. I did the usual tires, carb cleaning, etc and then put about 1500 miles on it. I am thinning out the herd so to speak and this one has to go. I have just done ; fork seals, new battery, chain and sprockets, brake pads, carb cleaning, valve cover gasket, oil change and a couple of really spirited test rides!. It needs nothing. A low priced, perfect running, 55 MPG fun motorcycle. Want to learn to ride?, this is the one. Want a fun ( like a giant XR 100) run around bike?, this is the one. I have never shipped a bike but am willing to do so. The buyer must pay all costs associated with the shipping. The bike is located in Northeast MD 21921 if your interested in picking it up.
