Vehicle Detail

1951 Willys Jeep Pickup Truck. This is a 1951 Willys Jeep truck that was used as a State of Utah Highway Department vehicle. I have a clear Utah title in my name and the keys to the ignition. This is a "No Reseerve" auction. If you bid $650.00, and no one else bids, you will own the truck. It was originally green in color, but was painted orange by the Utah Department of Highways. It is a four wheel drive vehicle and was used as a plow vehicle after it was sold by the State of Utah. It has a 1960 to 1962 Willys Hurricane, six cylinder, overhead valve engine. It has some rust issues, but they are not critical. I have taken numerous photos of the truck and the photos are super sized for clear viewing. The engine has not been started in several years, but turns over and is not frozen. It has the original tailgate with the stamped Willys logo in the metal. The negative aspects are as follows: 1. The truck has not been started is several years. 2. The interior is tattered and needs to be replaced. The original door panels are useable, but the seat is in bad condition. 3. The truck is old and has been neglected for several years. The body needs a complete restoration and paint. A $250.00 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction closing. If you have any questions, please give me a call. My home phone number is (801) 745-0599. I highly value my 100% positive feedback score on Ebay, and I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the truck. I'm not a car dealer, I just like old cars and have too many projects. Good luck bidding. On Jul-16-10 at 16:59:56 PDT, seller added the following information: An Ebay member, that is a retired WIlys mechanic, advised me that the engine in my 1951 Willys truck is a Willys "F161." This means that the six cylinder engine has 161 cubic inches and is a Willys engine from a later model Jeepster or Station Wagon. He further stated that the engine is a good choice for the truck and has the F-head.
