Arizona Car, absolutely no rust, except battery tray. 318 cu in V-8, Edelbrock Performer Manifold and Edelbrock Performer Carb, electric choke, 1406 model installed in 2009, all new. Cold AC, converted to 134A freon to save recharge costs, works great. Still have original 2 barrel manifold and carburetor if you are looking for a restoration. They go with the car. Many new or rebuilt parts including as follows: Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Steering box, Starter, Distributor, ignition electronics under hood, ignition switch, dual exhaust (2008 or so) loud, great sound. New Magnecor plug wires. New tires, new chrome wheels, front end aligned and torsion bars adjusted for height. New brakes including rotors, pads, calipers on the front, and new shoes on the back. I purchased this car as a driver and a restoration project in 2004 in conjunction with my son. As you can see by the odometer picture, it reads somewhere around 118,000, however, the speedometer has never worked, so it is probably around 120,000 or 125,000 miles or so. It needs a new or rebuilt speedometer head to work properly. Cable seems fine. As you can tell by the pictures, the Arizona sun has taken its toll on the vinyl roof and it needs to be replaced. The rust on the roof is superficial and can be sanded out. It is not rusted through. Other known problems are: Right turn signal indicator does not function in dash or on front fender. Could be bulbs, not sure. Left side functions fine. Right side windshield wiper arm does not operate. Probably a linkage disconnect behind wiper motor. Washers do not work. The car has no horn. One minor chip in windshield, should be able to be repaired with epoxy resin. Does not need replacement windshield. All other glass is in factory condition. The original radio is not functional but is still in the dash. The audio part of the car is an aftermarket radio mounted in the glove compartment. Removable front panel to prevent theft. Has both dual front and rear speakers, but the rear speakers need attention. Probably a wiring problem behind the radio in the glove compartment. The pits you see in the pictures on the rear quarter panels or on the rocker panels or on the lower front fenders are just external paint chips. There is absolutely no rust whatsoever on this car. It has never been wrecked or repainted. The factory paint has seen the Arizona sun too long also, and is faded but will buff out to a presentable degree. The interior needs to be replaced. Once again the sun plus just age, have taken their toll, even though it is still usable as is. The headliner is fine as is, no rips, tears or discoloration. I was highly optimistic when I bought this car that I could turn it into a daily driver and a nice 70’s muscle car. However, now I am 67 years old, and also a disabled vet, and I have found that I cannot complete the project so I must try to sell it. Whoever buys it gets a rust free, dent free, accident free, Arizona car. A super rarity nowadays. Please Note: This car did not pass the Arizona emissions test after three tries. The last try on May 19, 2010, it failed on the idle part of the emissions for hydrocarbons. Standard in Arizona is 400ppm, and the car had 537ppm. I had a local garage look at it, and they told me it needed a new set of intake manifold gaskets, and were going to charge me $305 for the installation of same. Cylinders 2 and 8 are not firing properly according to them, and they blame the intake manifold gaskets. Compression tests run by them show all cylinders to be within normal specifications. If you are an Arizona buyer, or any other buyer, please be advised that we are operating the car on a one year waiver of emissions, and the buyer is responsible for repairing the emissions problem before it can be licensed again, for sure in Maricopa County, Arizona; other states and localities may differ. It is currently legally licensed under the one year waiver issued to me on May 19, 2010. It expires one year from that date. $3800 USD OBO – BUYER PICKUP ONLY Pics: http://s996.photobucket.com/albums/af87/gearhead34/Dodge Dart/
