1993 unmolested EUROPEAN M5, Daytona Violet. The U.S. assigned VIN is WBSHC91020GD63657. All DOT Federalization paperwork completed and included. I am the third owner of the M5 having purchased it in April of 2007 from the second owner in Portland Oregon. I drove it home to Cedar City and it ran flawlessly! Since then I drive it on a freeway, (I-15) outing approx. twice a month. S38B38 Powerplant 345 HP Five speed transmission. Full factory Nurburgring package. Stage two inspection was completed at 98,008 with leak down results as follows: 1=6% 5=6% 3=8% 6=8% 2=7% 4=8% A new water pump and drive belts were installed along with control arm bushings, and pinion seal. All valves were adjusted. Valve readjustment recommended at 113,000. No detected rust with the exception of a tiny, insignificant, paint blister (has not broken the surface) on the rear quarter panel. Paint is a 7/10 with normal front end rock chips and a few scratches here and there. In my estimation more than acceptable but certainly not concours. Air Con blows cold. EDC is functional with no leaks detected. Extended Leather interior is in exceptional condition. I can detect no accident damage at all. The rear trans seal has developed a small leak. Other than that I feel the car is in exceptional condition. I have some paperwork but certainly not all. This is a M5 for the enthusiast who has both the time and resources to continue to give it the loving care it justly deserves. PLEASE BE AWARE OF EMISSION STANDARDS WHERE YOU INTEND TO REGISTER THE M5. SOME AREAS ARE MORE STRINGENT THAN OTHERS I.E. SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. THE M5 DID PASS EMISSION STANDARDS IN PORTLAND, OREGON PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. My M5 is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if circumstances warrant. QUESTIONS?
