From daily drivers to parts cars I have dealt with many types of people selling cars. Weather its a dealer or private party one thing thing always seems to be a issue, the vehicle is never described correctly or something major was left out. This is my first vehicle I will be selling on eBay and my goal is to describe this 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport to the absolute best of my abilities. As you can see from my eBay feedback I am a honest eBayer with Almost 850 - 100% Positive Feedback. The Basics: 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with just under 150,000 Miles. Vehicle belong to my father who purchased it around 2003-2004 with 25K miles or so. He has been the primary driver of this vehicle and has maintained it very well. Vehicle is Blue on Blue. The 3rd row seating IS INCLUDED with the van. The extra seats are in dry storage currently and will be installed on delivery. Title is Clear and the vehicle has never been involved in a major accident. The Good: Vehicle has been maintained by my father. Oil Changes every 3000 miles on the dot. The vehicle has had regular 5w30. Transmission is leak free and shifts smoothly. New Cooper Tires with about 90% tread. New brakes about 4k miles ago. 17 inch Aluminum rims with almost new Cooper tires. Newer Exhaust. A/C Blows ICE COLD!!! Vehicle has a full floor mat set in good condition. Drivers floor mat is worn. It had some front end work recently, I believe ball joints but I am not 100% positive but I will look into it. We have a bunch of receipts for work that has been done to the vehicle. All the power options work, window motors, radio, power sliding door, etc ***EXCEPT*** what is listed under "The Bad" below. The vehicle has 6 speaker Infinity sound system with Radio/CD. The Bad: The engine does use some oil between oil changes, about 1/2qt or so. With regular oil changes this will not be an issue. Passenger quarter panel power window vent DOES NOT work. *Passenger front window sometimes gets stuck. This is due to the window seal and I will look into it and rectify the situation. *Rear tail gate power motor sometimes does not fully open. It will beep, unlock, but the lock gets stuck. If you open the power tail gate and someone is there to hold the tail gate exterior switch it opens correctly. After the engine is turned off the alternator pully makes a grinding/spinning sound. Slight steering wheel vibration at 70MPH. The vehicle has scratches, peeling paint, and rust on the rockers and rear wheel wells. There is also some rust/bubbling on the hood. The headlights are a tad foggy on the outside. Payment/Shipping/Tax: Payment: $250 NON REFUNDABLE deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of purchase. The remainder to be paid on delivery unless vehicle is shipped. Shipping: Shipping is available within a few hundred miles and at a specific cost based on miles. If you want the vehicle shipped 50% of the vehicle + shipping fee's must be paid before shipping. Shipping will be done by me via flat bed. I would prefer not to ship this vehicle and there is no reason why it couldn't be driven home 500+ miles without issue. TAX: Tax is to be paid when you register the vehicle. I DO NOT collect tax. eBay: Item is listed at a $2000 bid or $2300 Buy It Now price. This vehicle is listed at a fair price in its mileage / condition class. I have included two dozen pictures to show the accurate condition of the vehicle. NOTE: eBay Auto Check is showing this vehicle was in an accident in 2001 and only had 1 owner. My guess is that this was a vehicle that a dealer used with a dealer plate, never registering it. Then after 20k miles sold it at auction where the local dealership purchased it, sold it to my father, and he has had it since. I see no signs of damage repair, bondo, etc.
