1963 Mercury Monterey Convertible Here is a very nice 1963 Mercury Monterey convertible that you can get in and drive ANYWHERE with confidence. The car has a strong running 390 cubic inch motor with automatic transmission. Does not leak a drop of oil or any other fluid for that matter. Engine compartment is very clean. Car has power brakes and power steering. Everything works on this car including blinkers, horn, headlights, heater, dash and courtesy lights, wiper and even the trunk light! The original clock and radio are not working, however there is a new AM/FM CD player hooked up under the dash and it works fine! The car has an older re-paint that has plenty of chips/flaws and nicks. However, it still shines up fine for a "driver" and does look fine from 10 feet. Much of the chrome has been re-done including both bumpers which look as good as new! The car has newer interior including seat covers, carpet and dash pad. Newer top is in great shape. Power top motor works great also. Original door panels are in great shape. This car is unbelievably solid. The frame, floors and under carriage of this car are unbelievably clean. All body panels are rust free, however I do beleive that there was some body work done before that past repaint! Original wheel covers are in great shape.
