This car is all original (except for the radio) and it hasn't been restored because it hasn't needed it. This SL is in excellent condition inside and out. We have both the soft and hard tops for the car. 1987 is the last production year for this body style and this car is very collectible, especially with this mileage and in this condition. This is an amazing find!!!!! Back in the 1980's this was the car to have! I remember lots of doctors driving these :-) This vehicle was traded in at Reeves Import Motors (the local Porsche, BMW, Land Rover Franchised dealer in Tampa) and we're lucky enough to be able to purchase their trade ins. This car did not come from the auction and it's much nicer than the cars you would find there. The exterior looks fantastic. The car has NO PAINTWORK and it looks fabulous. I took close up pictures of the few small flaws it has in the paint, but they are very minor especially for a 23 year old vehicle. This car has a clean carfax with no accident history. The interior is in excellent condition. It has tan seats and they have very little wear. There is one small tear in the passenger seat but other than that the seats all look fantastic. There aren't any cracks in the dash or anything like that. The trim pieces are all in very good condition. The convertible soft top is black and it is in excellent condition. The hard top is in excellent condition too and I think the stand for it is in the trunk (see picture). This vehicle runs and drives great. The air conditioning works good (even in our recent 100 degree weather :-) The power windows and power seats function as they're supposed to. The radio works fine and the car has Sony CD changer in the trunk. I think this must be the first CD changers ever made as it looks really old-time-ish but it's kind of cool at the same time. The sun visors are in excellent condition and they stay where they're supposed to. We've had a couple of these cars over the last few years and that was a problem on both of the other ones, but not on this one at all. If you're looking for a really nice classic SL, this is it!!! This is an amazing 1987 Mercedes SL560 convertible. This car is all original (except for the radio) and it hasn't been restored because it hasn't needed it. This SL is in excellent condition inside and out. We have both the soft and hard tops for the car. 1987 is the last production year for this body style and this car is very collectible, especially with this mileage and in this condition. This is an amazing find!!!!!
Back in the 1980's this was the car to have! I remember lots of doctors driving these :-)
This vehicle was traded in at Reeves Import Motors (the local Porsche, BMW, Land Rover Franchised dealer in Tampa) and we're lucky enough to be able to purchase their trade ins. This car did not come from the auction and it's much nicer than the cars you would find there.
The exterior looks fantastic. The car has NO PAINTWORK and it looks fabulous. I took close up pictures of the few small flaws it has in the paint, but they are very minor especially for a 23 year old vehicle. This car has a clean carfax with no accident history.
The interior is in excellent condition. It has tan seats and they have very little wear. There is one small tear in the passenger seat but other than that the seats all look fantastic. There aren't any cracks in the dash or anything like that. The trim pieces are all in very good condition.
The convertible soft top is black and it is in excellent condition. The hard top is in excellent condition too and I think the stand for it is in the trunk (see picture).
This vehicle runs and drives great. The air conditioning works good (even in our recent 100 degree weather :-) The power windows and power seats function as they're supposed to. The radio works fine and the car has Sony CD changer in the trunk. I think this must be the first CD changers ever made as it looks really old-time-ish but it's kind of cool at the same time. The sun visors are in excellent condition and they stay where they're supposed to. We've had a couple of these cars over the last few years and that was a problem on both of the other ones, but not on this one at all.

Seller reserves the right to cancel any and all bids, or end the auction early at its sole and complete discretion before the close of the auction. Bidder must be 18 years or older. Seller welcomes buyers pre-bid inspection at seller’s place of business but any such inspections must be completed prior to the auction ending, during our business hours (noon - 6 pm monday through friday) and shall be at buyers cost. We are a licensed independent dealer in the state of Florida. Titles are usually sent within 1-2 weeks but can take up to 30 days to be received. In the event that you need the title and vehicle at the same time, we require prepayment (and enough time for the payment to clear) or cash payment (in person) in US funds.
We do our best to provide accurate descriptions, but could possibly overlook something. We try to point out anything unusual for the year and mileage of the car, but obviously these are used cars and will have wear consistent with the year and mileage. Most of our cars come with owners manuals and 2 keys, cigarette lighters, cargo covers, spare tires, jacks, first aid kits, etc. but sometimes these are not turned in by the previous owner. If you don’t see these items pictured, do not assume that they are there or included with the auction. We do drive these cars while they're up for auction so the mileage may be slightly higher, but typically not more than a few hundred miles. If you have any questions, please ask.
