Vehicle Detail
For sale is my 2000 Honda Civic SI EBP. I am the second owner and the first was my supervisor from work. Although I have owned it for approximately 3 years, I have seen over it for over 7.Only quality parts has been used and this vehicle has been kept in meticulous condition for its age. Low mileage thanks to the fact that it was neither his daily driver and was partially for me; DD duties was shared by my motorcycle and this car. constant trips abroad for kept this thing garaged majority of its life. The motor runs incredibly strong though there may be an issue w/ the oil (see comments below). Following is the break down of parts and condition of the specified areas. INTERIOR: Smoke-free environment Factory radio No rips, tears, or burns Tinted windows (right side has scratch in tint) MOMO Millennium steering wheel (Factory wheel included; airbag in tact) 2 Pod gauge bezel cluster (Factory bezel included) Pro sport gauges—Oil pressure and Boost Clean inside and out The interior has essentially been kept stock for maximum appeal and minimized chances of theft. Stock OEM parts will be included with the car if the new owner wishes to swap back to stock. ENGINE: B16A2 original motor 38,XXX miles on frame/motor Vortech HO polished Supercharger w/ After Cooler Vortech FMU Vortech Fuel Rail Vortech FPR Vortech Blow off valve Vortech Upgraded Pulley AEM adjustable cam gears AEM under pulley system (not all pulleys installed since vortech installation) DC Sports SS 1-piece headers DC Sports Sway bar, battery holder, and oil cap (Factory sway bar included) C&R Aluminum radiator w/ FAL fan installed Skunk2 Intake Manifold (stock manifold included) Skunk2 Titanium valve springs Skunk2 Titanium holders Skunk2 Titanium retainers Skunk2 Pro series cams CP Pistons (factory compression) w/ Swain Tech skirt & piston coating Eagle Forged rods ARP bolts Holley Throttle body (stock TB currently installed; Holley will be included) Fidanza lightened fly wheel (Stock will be included) ACT Stage 2 Clutch/pressure plate Yonaka SS catback exhaust (sounds identical to Apexi WS2 exhaust; very subtle) Stock Air filter assembly, plugs, manifold, and headers will also be included The plan was to eventually prep the system for more boost with an engine management system, upgraded injectors, etc. but it never got to this point. About a year ago the CP pistons/JE rings were installed (and Swaintech coated) along with a new OEM oil pump (Acura Type-R pump). During this time I am lead to believe that the rings were gapped on the looser end (for metal expansion of pistons) because I am loosing a little oil. I am NOT blowing blue smoke, I just can’t find where the oil is going. Proper break-in of the rings was achieved as well. Vehicle is 100% drivable without issues, I just check oil level/add once a month to be on the safe side EXTERIOR Paint is outstanding (clayed, waxed, and garge kept). Paint is butter smooth w/ no oxidation what so ever. You may find a rock chip here and there on front bumper One dent (I counted 1 slight impression on the rear left qtr panel). Everything else looks incredible Eibach Pro-kit Springs Tokico “blue” shocks OEM Raybrig Fog lights OEM Civic SI Front Lip OEM Civic SI Rear Lip (very rare) OEM wheels ALL panels are all original OEM panels No accidents CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN This car is in amazing condition with all the quality parts for a build that would last a long time. All gaskets are OEM Honda and only the best was used with this car. The only reason I am selling is because I am being relocated for work to Mississippi (from CA) in August and I simply cannot take this with me. I am already moving 2 motorcycles and 2 other vehicles along w/ an entire house, which is already proven to be a logistical nightmare. I simply have to keep my get my priorities straight and cut my losses w/ this one. ***ADDED*** - video has been uploaded to Youtube of a walkaround of the vehicle. Clip taken from my camera so quality is not the best, but you get the idea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3aNLdd_uP4
