1991 Mustang GT 5.0 convertible, automatic AOD. Runs and drives like new. The body has 154,000 miles on it and the motor and trans has 86,000 miles on it. I built the car for my handicap father. It's a stock 302 with BBK shorty headers, off road H-pipe, flow master mufflers, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Ice cold air conditioning that has been converted to 134A. The motor runs perfect and the trans shifts out perfect, just like it should; up shift and down shift. The car originally had a 5-speed in it, and I left the clutch pedal assembly in the car. I just tucked it under the carpet so it can't be seen. Like I said my father is handicap and can't drive stick anymore. That is why I put an automatic in it. I still have the 5-speed and bell housing and everything to put the 5-speed back in it. If you hit the buy it now and want the 5-speed put back in, I will sell you the trans and install it for $650. Overall it is a very nice car with new paint (base coat/clear coat). There is no rust nor was there ever any rust in the car. The previous owner patched the top, but it does not leak. The top would last you a long time. So you wouldn't have to worry about buying a new top right away. I am posting a picture of that spot in the top. The car has a previous non-highway title do to salvage because of hail damage in 1992. There is no hail damage in the car now. The first person that actually sees and drives it will buy it; the pics and ad don't do it justice. It is a shame that we can't afford to keep everything we want, but we want to finish my parents prostreet 1954 Chevy Belair Hardtop. I have owned and built a lot of cars. I know times are tough but if you are looking for a good clean convertible Mustang than this is it. I wouldn't risk getting a negative feedback over a $3000.00 item. Once again this is a very clean and dependable mustang. You can absolutely fly in and drive home. I am also going to list the car locally. If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding.
