We'd be glad to answer any questions you have. Road Test What first caught my attention when I got into this car was the amount of space. I'm not talking about cargo space, yet, but head room, leg room, and room for your stuff. Every square inch that could be a storage compartment, is. The center console not only has the traditional flip-up arm rest, with storage, but three open compartments as well, plus a fourth compartment that houses an auxilliary input jack for your MP3 player, a standard 12v auto power supply, and a standard 115v 3 prong houshold power supply. Each door has map pocket, and the glove box has two seperate compartments, a large, deep bin, and a seperate upper shelf to keep imortant papers seperated. The cargo area of the car is large enough for trips to the grocery store, and even has hooks to hold your bags in place, so your items won't end up rolling around on the floor. With fold down the rear seats, and front passenger seat, this compact hatchbacks cargo space increases to 49.1 cubic feet, enough to rival some small suvs. When I closed the door I feel like I was sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet. The dash, full of very brightly lit colorful LED gauges with bright red needles, came to life as soon as I cranked up the engine, the needles making a full sweep before returning to their resting places. The control cluster was within easy reach. The controls themselves were easy to understand, and use, with big buttons, and a large, easy to read, font. At night the bright gauges, and controls were easy to see, but not bright enough to strain my eyes. The A/C came to life, cooling the cabin down in the bright sunlight, in less than a minute. As I pulled out onto the the highway I noticed the steering was very responsive, and braking was smooth and sure. The one word I can come up with to describe how this car drives is zippy. With enough get up and go to get the car up to 65 mph long before the highway on ramp ended. The brakes were smoth, and responsve, slowing the car with very little preassure applied to the pedal, and stoping it quickly when more force is applied. Review "The 2010 Pontiac Vibe is based on the Toyota Matrix, which is, in turn, a close relative of the Toyota Corolla. Those are pretty good genes for a compact hatchback to start with, and the Vibe makes the most of them. Sharing most of the Matrix's interior and mechanical components, the Vibe boasts a compliant suspension, intuitive cabin controls and plenty of cargo capacity, making it one of the more compelling choices in this segment. Compared to its sibling, the Vibe sets itself apart with unique exterior styling, including Pontiac's trademark dual-grille design. Its sheet metal is far more stylish than the typical economy car's, its tall body imbues the cabin with a spacious feel and its convenient hatchback design means you can haul a lot of stuff. This cargo-carrying capacity is one of the Vibe's biggest draws -- it can haul almost as much as some compact SUVs. Yet its fuel economy with the base 1.8-liter engine is still quite good at 28 combined mpg. The Vibe costs a grand or two more than a run-of-the-mill budget hatchback, but its verve and versatility make it well worth the extra coin." - Edmunds.com Warranties Basic Warranty: 3 Years/36,000 miles - The basic warranty covers everything except items that are subject to wear and tear or replacement in the ordinary course of vehicle ownership, such as oil and air filters, wiper blades and brake pads. Tires and batteries are often excluded, but usually have their own warranty provided by the manufacturers of those items. Emissions equipment is required by Federal law to be covered for five years or 50,000 miles. Drive Train Warranty: 5 Years/100,00 miles- In some cases the drive train warranty continues after the basic warranty has expired. This part of the warranty covers most of the parts that make the vehicle move, including the engine, transmission, drive axles and driveshaft. Like the basic warranty, consumable parts such as hoses and belts are not covered. However, most of the internal parts of the engine, such as the pistons and bearings, which are also subject to wear and tear, are covered by the drive train warranty. Roadside Assistance: 5 Years/100,00 miles - Many manufacturers provide a service that will rescue you if your car leaves you stranded, even if it's your fault. Lock yourself our of your car? Run out of gas? Got a flat tire? A call to the manufacturer's toll-free number will result in somebody showing up who can help you out. There is a huge variance in these programs so check ahead of time to see what is covered and what you will have to pay for. Rust or Corrosion Warranty: 6 Years/100,00 miles - Rust or Corrosion Warranty: This warranty covers the vehicle's sheet metal, and protects you from rust and corrosion that are severe enough to cause a hole - surface rust is not covered. However, if you keep your car washed and waxed rust shouldn't be a problem. Condition Brand new! With only 16 miles from the test drive, this car is in mint condition.
