well im selling my bug because its been sitting a lot more than being driven lately. i have a lot of time and money invested in her. been a slow project. has a new fuel tank, new exhaust from motorworks, has new wheel cylinders on front. interior is tweed, sunvisors, door panels, headliner all tweed. black/grey. has brand new tires 135 front and 145's in rear. has a custom complete front beam. has new cb drop spindles, new leaf springs, bushings and adjusters. new drop shocks on front, new steering stabalizer and steering gear, also has new tie rods and ends. front beam is a custom narrowed 4" beam. handles and runs great. has some small rust spots here and there, jack peice on passenger side is broken looks like it could be welded into place, has new floor pans. motor is from different year bug, im not sure what. its a twin carb setup, im told they are delleroto carbs that are worth some money and if you know these cars you know ive got about a 1k just in the front beam assembly and parts. would make a great cruiser. like every other bug ive seen it does leak a little oil, just leaving my mark wherever my travels take me. i have the adjusters adjusted all the way up in the front and its down 2 clicks in the rear, so you could go even lower if you would like. oh yeah and like every other bug ive seen mine leaks some oil, basically im just leaving my mark wherever i go. im sure ive left out something so email me with any questions. its in pretty good shape to be 46 years old, reverse gear is showing some wear, slips out of reverse if you back up too far, all forward gears working fine. my loss could be your gain!
