You are bidding on a 2004 Mercedes-Benz SLK 230 Kompressor, Special Edition. It has a 2.3 liter turbocharged engine with automatic transmission. It is a hard-top convertible, great for both sunshine and rain. The exterior is in excellent condition except for: 1. A small ding on the left rear fender. 2. A few small dings on the rear of the driver door. 3. A scratch on the left front fender. These flaws are all in the picture section of the listing and could be easily fixed to like-new condition by a body shop for low cost. The only other significant cosmetic item is in the trunk, a pull-shade type cover (used when putting the top down) has a tear in it. This is also pictured. It does not keep the top from retracting normally and is only visible when the trunk is open, so I never bothered to replace it. I do not have an estimate for replacing the cover. The interior is black leather and is in very good condition. There is the normal wear and tear of a 26,000 mile vehicle but no major damage or flaws. The Hawaii annual inspection is valid until the end of August. I put new rear tires on the car in October of 2009 and new front tires in March 2010, It also received a front-end alignment check in March. All other major maintenance has been done at Mercedes-Benz of Honolulu. The car is several months late for its routine annual servicing (was due in February), but I have had regular oil changes (most recently in May) and it is performing like a good, low-mileage Mercedes should.
