. 1965 Chevy Impala Convertible 327 cu. In. engine, Fuelie heads with 4-bbl carburetor Powerglide transmission with shift kit. 12-bolt rear, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tilt Steering Column. Body sits on a RUST FREE Arizona chassis that has had all ball joints and tie rod ends replaced. Brakes were redone with New lines, Wheel Cylinders and Linings and filled with Silicone brake fluid. New top cylinder pistons were installed. Lower rear quarters were replaced. Front floor pans were replaced (need final welding). Body was stripped down to bare metal and painted with high fill primer and Dupont enamel in the original red color. Interior has all the hard to find convertible pieces and includes a Top Boot Cover. Lots of extra parts===Tilt steering column and wheel, Restored Instrument cluster with clock, Delco AM radio with Fader Control (rare option), extra top motor, front fenders, hood, deck lid, front and rear bumpers, Complete cowl and firewall unit, vent window assemblies, and much more. Comes with a Complete Factory Four Season Air Condition system ready to install which includes all dash vents, controls, duct work, wiring, hoses, R-12 Freon, etc. Compressor and pulleys are mounted on engine already. There were not many A/C equipped convertibles!!!! Car needs a little work and TLC. Needs front floors finished, trunk floor replaced, exhaust work and some rust repair. Body has some scratches and small dents not visible in photos. Roof has a tear in it. Car is not a supersport ss. I’m never going to finish this project. I lost interest and lost garage space.
