I purchased it in CO in 2002 (I am the second owner) and it has been in and out of storage ever since. Around Thanksgiving 2008 I bought another motorcycle and stopped using the Suzuki. This explains the low miles over the years. I also drive a car so it’s now time to make some space in the garage and cancel an insurance policy. I will not arrange for shipping. However, if you want to use a shipper I will assist all I can. Fly in to Las Vegas’ McCarran airport (LAS), take advantage of low hotel rates, spend a weekend on the strip, see a show, have some fun, ride home through the desert on the GSX-R. I will collect you from the airport or bring the bike to your hotel. Don’t forget your helmet. MECHANICAL This bike was just serviced at Racers Edge Performance of Las Vegas who replaced the jets and installed a New Regina Chain 530ZRP and sprocket kit (cost almost $450) They have recommended a little more work to the carbs to bring it to its peak but it is ready to be driven away. New air filter and battery also installed. The Vance & Hines exhaust is not stock and these are usually installed as part of a tune up kit. Normally, the carburetors are re-jetted to match the exhaust and this was not done. The only noticeable effect of this is at certain low revs, usually around town in 3rd or 4th gear there is a slight hesitation. It can best be described as the bike having an enthusiasm to get on with it and pick up the speed. It’s never bothered me; I can easily accelerate out of this. I get 39 mpg in a mix of highway and urban riding. Tires are good. Recent new rear brake disc and pads. I have receipts for all the work done and parts purchased. BODY AND COSMETICS Finished in black, with decals as shown in the photos, and purple/blue rims. For a 1994 motorcycle the body and paintwork is in very good condition. It has never been in an at-speed fall but did drop a couple of times from a stationary position. The first time was while washing the bike on unstable ground. The decal and paintwork on the left fairing suffered scratches. The second time it was pushed over probably by somebody attempting to steal it. This resulted in a damaged indicator (replaced) and a crack in the rear wheel guard. I made a repair to this which can only be seen when bending over and looking up in to the guard. ACCESSORIES Two optional side covers (never used while I have owned the bike) King’s Gun KG-9 alarm and Pager in box. I always intended to fit it, never got around to it. T-Rex Racing front and rear stands. Rear used a few times, front never used. Dri Rider expanding tank bag with magnetic attachments. Main bag is 14” x 11” approx and expands from 5”- 9” approx. It has a detachable smaller tank bag (an inch or so deep) for documents. Both bags have clear map pockets (pocket on main bag has a small hole). Haynes hard back workshop manual #2055. The best manuals available. Old/used battery as spare CoverMax cover (well used, has some holes) If the buyer is coming from out of state, riding the bike home and not able to carry all these accessories I can ship them via UPS (buyer’s expense).
