Vehicle Detail

1998 Subaru Legacy Outback, white and gray exterior with black leather interior. 245K miles with what I think (not a mechanic) is a blown head gasket. According to the Subaru group web sites this is a typical scenario with this engine but the new head gaskets are a good fix. Prior to this the engine ran strong. Has A/C, auto, roof rack, leather seats (heated front), heated side mirrors, trailer receiver, cruise and AM/FM/Weather Band/Tape Deck/CD Player with this Limited Edition. I just had the two front CV joints replaced within the last four months. The engine leaks a bit of oil but according to the "online experts" this can be resolved during the head gasket replacement. There are the general nicks and dings/paint, interior/exterior wear and tear issues normally associated with a car of this age. There are a couple of small dents (see pic) on the left rear side, none standard fog lights, issues with the oldersecurity system (goes off without warning due to large frequency range of this model~others cars key fobs set it off if in proximity), ABS light stays on despite the mechanic stating it is fine, luggage cover is broken, battery taken out for another vehicle use. I've had one minor parking lot incident with the car; a Cube Trucks bumper pealed back the front bumper cover while I was parked. I was able to re-attach with some new plastic inserts and touch up paint. It's been in my ownership for the last 4-5 years and bought new by my Aunt prior to that. I really love this car but don't have the time to fix it myself, this would be great somebody that is mechanically handy (or drop a new engine in a run for many more years) wanting a very capable All Wheel Drive (AWD) utility type vehicle. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks for looking.
