CRX HF GETS 51 MPG AND CRX SI ONLY GETS 34 MPG SO PLEASE SEE FUELECONOMY.GOV TO VERIFY THIS. 734-444-7542. PLEASE BEWARE OF CRXS THAT KIDS HAVE LOWERED WITH COILOVERS OR LOWERING SPRINGS. THESE LOWERING SPRINGS ARE NOT RECOMMENDED BY HONDA AS THEY DO NOT ALLOW THE CAR TO FLEX DOWNWARD TO ABSORB ROAD SHOCK FROM POTHOLES AND CRACKS. AS A RESULT LOWERD CARS SUSPENSION IS DESTROYED VERY QUICKLY INCLUDING THE TIE RODS INNER AND OUTER, THE BALL JOINTS, UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS AND THE SPRINGS AND STRUTS ARE ALL DESTROYED FAST. NOTE THAT MY CRX HF STEERING AND SUSPENSION IS NOT LOWERED IT IS NORMAL STOCK AND WILL LAST VERY LONG AND WILL GIVE YOU A VERY COMFORTABLE RIDE. LOWERED CARS GIVE A VERY ROUGH RIDE. 100 PERCENT OEM (ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURE) STOCK NO MODIFICATIONS (EXCEPT STAINLESS EXHAUST THAT IS QUIET AND WILL NEVER NEED REPLACEMENT AGAIN.). ALL REPLACED PARTS ARE STOCK NOT AFTERMARKET. THIS IS THE 1990 CRX HF (HIGH FUEL). IT WILL GET YOU 50 MPG MINUMUM ON THE OPEN FREEWAY. ONLY THE HF CRX WILL GET THIS GAS MILEAGE DUE TO THE TALL GEARS IN THE TRANSMISSION. IF YOU SEE A HF ADVERTISED MANY OF THEM HAVE BEEN MODFIED AND MOLESTED WITH RACE ENGINES AND MANY HAVE HAD THEIR SUSPENSION LOWERED BUT NOT THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS 100 PERCENT PURE VIRGIN OEM STOCK ENGINE TRANSMISSION AND STEERING AND ALL SUSPENSION . THERE ARE NO MODIFICATIONS. THEREFORE IT WILL GIVE YOU A VERY COMFORTABLE RIDE. WHEELS ARE STOCK OEM. THIS CAR DOES GET EASILY THE 50 MILES PER GALLON AND IT IS THE HIGHEST NON DIESEL NON HYBRID FUEL ECONOMY CAR IN THE WORLD. THE ACCIDENT WAS VERY MINOR AND ONLY REQUIRED REPLACING THE FRONT BUMPER SKIN I BOUGHT THIS CAR SIMPLY TO RESTORE. IT HAD A LEAKING RADITOR WHICH OVERHEATED THE ORIGINAL ENGINE. I REPLACED THE ENGINE AND THE TRANSMISSION TOGETHER WITH REPLACEMENTS THAT HAD 108000 MILES ON THEM AND ARE OEM STOCK ORIGINALS FOR THE HF CRX. . IT RUN AND SHIFTS PERFECTLY WITH NO LEAKING NO SMOKING AND HIGH TESTED COMPRESSION. I WILL PAY FOR ANY INSPECTION YOU WISH IN MY AREA AT MY EXPENSE IF TECHNICIAN SAYS THIS ENGINE OR TRANSMISSION ARE NOT GOOD. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRIVE THIS CAR FOR A VERY LONG TIME TO COME. THE SHELL OR BODY OF THIS CAR HAS 250000 MILES ON IT AND THAT IS WHAT THE ODOMETER READS. NO ACCIDENTS NO DAMAGE ANYWHERE. IT IS CLEAN NO RUST AND THE PAINT SHINES VERY NICELY. THE EXHAUST IS A QUIET STAINLESS STEEL ONE THAT WILL NOT ROT OUT LIKE THE CHEAPY STEEL ONES DO. THE TIRES ARE BRAND NEW KELLY GOODYEAR 45,000 MILE RATED ALL WHEATHER STEEL BELTED RADIALS. I ALSO INSTALLED A NEW HEATER CONTROLLER. TWO YEARS AGO PREVIOUS OWNER REPLACED THE SPRINGS STRUTS AND SHOCKS ON ALL 4 WHEELS. THERE IS NOTHING I AM STICKING YOU WITH IN THE CAR TO REPAIR ALL IS DONE FOR YOU. THIS CRX HF IS TOP NOTCH CLEAN NO RUST FINELY TUNED SMOOTH SHIFTING AND WILL GIVE YOU AT LEAST 10 TO 20 YEARS OF LONG DISTANCE DRIVING. THE ENGINE DOES NOT SMOKE OR LEAK ANYTHING AND I WOULD BE WILLING TO HAVE IT EMMISSIONS TESTED IN ANY STATE IN THE USA INCLUDING CALIFORNIA. I GAURANTEE PERSONALLY IT WILL PASS ANY EMISSIONS OR SAFETY OR MECHINCAL INSPECTION. I HAVE REPLACED THE ORIGINAL CRX HF SEATS WITH MORE EXPENSIVE DX SEATS THAT HAVE MORE CUSHION AND ARE MORE EXPENSIVE AND I HAD THE DRIVERS SEAT REUPHOLSTERED IN THE ORIGINAL OEM STOCK FABRIC BRAND NEW. SO YOU GET VERY NICE SEATS WHICH COST ME A TOTAL OF 600 WITH THE NEW FABRIC. BUY THE WAY I HAVE PERFORMED THE HONDA RECOMMENDED VALVE LASH ADJUSTMENT WHICH IS 6THOUSANDTHS FOR THE INTAKE VALVES AND 8 THOUSANDTHS FOR THE EXHAUST VALVES FOR THE CRX HF. HONDA RECOMMENDS THIS BE DONE EVERY 15000 MILES . IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS ON YOUR HONDA IT WILL SOUND NOISY LIKE A DIESEL ENGINE DUE TO THE VALVES CLACKING HAVING TOO MUCH SPACING. ALSO THE ROCKER ARMS SEALS AND THE VALVE COVER GASKET IS REPLACED TOGETHER WITH THE SPARK PLUG GASKETS. SPARK PLUGS, WIRES DISTRIBUTOR CAP AND ROTOR ARE ALL REPLACED. I ALSO SET THE IGNITION TIMING PROFESSINALLY WITH A DIGITAL TIMING GUN. SHE PURS LIKE A KITTEN. THIS CAR SHINES BEAUTIFULLY BECAUSE I HAD IT REPAINTED HONDAS OEM BLACK FOR THE CRX. MANY CRXS ON HERE WILL LOOK GOOD IN PICTURES UNTIL YOU SEE THEM IN PERSON . MINE WILL LOOK IN PERSON AS NICE AS YOU SEE IT IN THE PICTURES. THIS CAR WILL GET YOU AT LEAST 50 MPG. SEE FUELECONOMY.GOV. FINALLY I HAVE COMPLETELY REPLACED THE MAJOR AC COMPONENTS INCLUDING THE AC COMPRESSOR AND THE AC CONDENSOR AND O RINGS AND REPLACED AND VACUUMED OUT THE SYSTEM AND CONVERTED OVER TO R134A REFRIGERANT. I TOOL PICTURES OF THE NEW ALTERNATOR, NEW AC COMPRESSOR AND NEW RADIATOR AND NEW STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST. I ALSO REPLACED THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER ON THE CAR SO NOW YOU HAVE A NICE CLEAN CLEAR EXHAUST SYSTEM THAT WILL NOT ROT OUT. I WILL ALLOW YOU TO HAVE THE CAR SAFETY INSPECTED OR EMMISSIONS TESTED AND I PROMISE AND GUARANTEE YOU IT WILL PASS BOTH. EXHAUST IS VERY CLEAN AND WILL PASS CALIFORNIA OR NEW YOUR EMMISSSIONS. I GARANTEE YOU WILL GET AT LEAST 48 MPG WITH THIS CAR OR YOU GET 300 OFF MY PRICE FOR EACH MPG BELOW 48 . YOU WILL HAVE TO RIDE WITH ME AT LEAST 200 MILES FOR ME TO PROOVE IT WHEN YOU COME TO PICK THE CAR UP.
