Logic/Triumph 2001 17’ Dual Console Fishing/Fun Boat with 70 HP Johnson Outboard You are bidding on a well maintained 2001 17’ Logic Dual Console fishing/fun boat powered by a 70 HP Johnson Outboard with less than 50 hours on it. It comes with a single axle galvanized 2000 Performance galvanized trailer. If you are not familiar with Logic boats, they are now called Triumph Boats (changed their name in 2002). Made with near indestructible 100% recyclable Roplene molded polymer hull featuring dual wall construction and filled with polyurethane foam, similar to a Boston Whaler. The hull is very stable and it is unsinkable (see tests http://www.triumphboats.com/index.cfm?page=modelIntro&siniterx=170DC) This boat has always been garaged or stored outdoors on a lift protected by a mooring cover. As the pictures indicate, it is in very good condition and all of the equipment is in working order. I bought the boat from a retired couple living in Ft. Myers who had it sitting in their garage and rarely used it. We launched it sparingly as a second boat. It is fully coast guard equipped and the perfect boat for fishing or light recreation (tubing, knee-boarding, etc.). It’s potentially a great boat for young adults and learners as it is very safe and nearly indestructible. It is packed with features usually only found in larger boats. It has skid-resistant floors and hatches, dual forward storage lockers, a roomy cockpit, forward casting platform, aerated baitwell, large insulated compartments, built-in cooler, comfortably seats six and has a convertible Bimini Top (which we have never used). The Performance Trailer is also in very good condition and features greasable hubs, ABS plastic step fenders (small crack in one), tires with 90% of tread remaining (spare new), all lights in workable condition. The Flaws: There is a scratch on the hull (which could be sanded out) and a scratch on the motor cover. There is also a stain (small) on the V-seat cushion. None of these effect the performance of the boat and you can see them clearly in the pictures. With respect to delivery, I will help in whatever I can to get the boat delivered to you. I am willing to haul the boat for you as far south as Orlando as I travel there frequently from Charleston SC for the cost of the gas ($50-100). Call me with questions 843-412-1766 or concerns.
