Triumph TR 6 In decent condition, a good place to start a resto project on a highly valued car. Has not been repaired by previous owners too much, nearly original condition. Hood, trunk, and doors in very good condition, no rust or bodywork. Front and rear fenders in good condition, a little rust in the upper corner of one rear fender a small amount on the "eyebrow" of one front fender. Inner body solid, rockers will need some attention, a few spots along edges of floorboards are thru. Trunk very solid, battery shelf very solid with some surface rust. Engine is solid, unfortunately, by that I mean it is frozen solid. Frame is in decent shape, although someone welded in agles at frame member where trailing arm attaches. A lot of very old, dry, surface rust underneath, not very deep. Wiring looks to be unmolested. Windshield has some "white out" at bottom corner, passengers side, probably between lamination layers. Bumpers will probably need to be replaced. Brake cylinder seems to hold pressure, clutch cylinder is like the engine, solid. Rear axle u-joint flanges have been unbolted from differential, my guess is that the clutch plate is rusted to the flywheel, connecting it to the frozen engine, and someone took the bolts loose to move the car. Car was last inspected in 1982, last running in 1983, stored in a well protected barn since then. Rodents have destroyed the foam on the passengers side seat bottom, done some damage on the drivers side seat bottom. Tis a shame, seats were passable other than that (although they are that awful light blue)(apologies if you like light blue!).
