Offered for your consideration is this very rare Pontiac Mera, not a kit car. The vehicle serial number is 8122 manufactured on April of 1988. The Pontiac Mera was a Corporate Concept only made in 1987 and 1988, of which only 247 were produced. General Motors was sued by Ferrari for manufacturing a vehicle which looked so much like a Ferrari 308 that GM was forced to stop production. This particular vehicle was purchased new byJohn Giuffrida of Longwood Florida in June of 1988 for $26,708.00. We have the original hand written window sticker provided by the Dealership. In May of 1997 a local Wichita Ks. Attorney purchased the vehicle from Mr. Giuffrida's Estate, the Odometer reading was 23,975. The vehicle was painted by the current owner in 1997 at a cost of $3,500.00. He then proceeded with the endeavor to fully clone the Mera to a Ferrari 308.
