PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AD BEFORE PLACING A BID. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, PLEASE EMAIL ME BEFORE BIDDING. THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY AUCTION AND GOOD LUCK! 1988 corvette 105k miles 4+3 manual transmission (4 speed manual with 3 overdrive gears, last year made, works fine) black with tan leather interior dual power seats climate control targa roof inspected through february 2012 1991 wheels tires have plenty of tread left newer weatherstripping around the rear hatch glass headlight motor gears replaced recently new digital dash flowmaster mufflers power locks power windows i bought this car in february of 2006 as a 2nd car (weekend toy). this car runs, drives, shifts, and sounds great. it is very reliable and it never gave me any real problems. the reason im selling it is because i just don't drive it that much anymore. i was recently given a company car, so now the vette is a 3rd car and it just doesn't get much use. i take it out for a ride every so often just to keep it from sitting too long. i have only put about 6,000 miles on this car since i've owned it. this really is a great corvette in very good condition for its age, but please understand that this is a 22 year old car. please dont expect everything to be perfect on this car, because it is not. for example: the steering wheel needs to be recovered the paint looks nice and shiny from 10 feet away, but it has some scratches and there is a spot below the right taillights that is slightly dull (pictured) the weatherstripping around the doors doesn't leak, but should be replaced the struts that hold the rear glass up need to be replaced one of the power door lock switches and some of the switches on the 8-way power seats work intermittently, and sometimes not at all (probably needs the terminals in the switches cleaned) the cigarette lighter does not work sometimes the radio will lose the station and you will just hear static, i never tried the cassette player the rear defroster lines are disconnected and therefore it does not work these are minor things that never mattered enough for me to fix, but i want to give you as much info on the car as i can and be as honest as possible. i just dont need someone calling me a week later complaining about something stupid like the dome light not working. if you're one of those people, do us both a favor and don't bid. if you want a brand new corvette, please call your local chevy dealer and order one. if you're not one of those people, please feel free to bid. if you have any questions, please email me before bidding. good luck and thanks for looking!
