Up for bid is a very nice, mostly original, 1966 Mustang. I purchased this car from a Scottsdale, AZ resident three years ago. It has spent all but the last three years in the desert, also an original San Jose built car. When I purchased the car it was stored in a garage for a number of years, so everything in the car had been given the once over to bring it back to life. Pictures cannot do justice to show just how solid this car is. Two of the photos show the line workers "crayon marks" on the chassis. It definitely is not one of these cars that has had panel replacement with inferior steel. The car was kept primarily original, not even the radio was messed with and I even have receipts that date back thirty years. The work that has been done includes: -New front and rear springs (about a 3/4 inch drop)-New front ball joints.-New front sway bar (pictured, not on car)-A Ford Duraspark Electronic Ignition-New Heater Core-New weather stripping (still in the box)-New Headliner (still in the box)-New Whitewall Tires with Original hubcaps.-New front valance (original one is dented)-New carpet.- New sub-frame connectors (Not on the car.)-New Konig Wheels with 205/55R16 Falken Radials. Things the car needs: -New Glove Box insert, the original one crumbled in my hand.-A/C needs a charge. All of the chrome is very nice, with the rear bumper being a little worn in spots. I have been driving the car for the last month with no issues. All you need to do is put a decent paint job on it and it's ready to go.
