Up for sale is a well preserved 1968 Pontiac Firebird with a 350 Motor and Automatic Transmission. The documentation makes this car unique. I have the all the original manuals, the PROTECTO-PLATE, the ORIGINAL Window Sticker (Car Invoice), and factory assembly manuals. In addition to the paperwork, I have a folder FULL of receipts. The car was originally sold at Adams Pontiac in Mount Kisco, NY for $3,880.04 + TAX. The Original owner traded his 64' Pontiac Convertible in for a measly $794.04 and upgraded to the firebird. Original options include: Power Top, Custom Seatbelts, Console with Clock (clock no longer there), Power Steering, Deluxe Interior, Custom Trim, Floor Mats, and some other odd and ends. The brakes were upgraded to power front disc brakes. They work very well. The car has one repaint and was painted it's original color; Flambeau Burgundy. The paint is VERY nice, deep, and shiny. Naturally, it isn't 100% perfect but I would say it's around a 9/10. Interior appears original and in nice shape. It has an aftermarket radio that does work. The door buzzer works as well as all exterior lights. The wood grain is in nice shape. There is a small hole that was drilled at some point in the left corner above the radio (not sure why). The convertible top functions perfectly and looks brand new. No rips or tears at all. The underneath is original and there is a small floor repair on the driver’s side. The trunk is in nice shape and is original. The bumper jack and spare are mounted in the trunk. Sub frame and rear frame rails are solid. The tires are like brand new. This car is ready for summer. NYS buyers will have to pay sales tax. I have a shipper I use frequently and can help with transportation or can deliver locally for a fee. The car is sold without a warranty in as is condition.
