This is a red 1979 Lincoln Town Car which runs well. Good candidate for a show car. It features an AM/FM Cassette, Moon Roof, 400 CID Engine (V8), Power Seats - Driver and Passenger, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Antenna, Working Air Conditioning, Hideaway Headlights, Illuminated Entry System, Tilt Steering Column, Rear Defrosters, Power Brakes/ Power Steering, Citizen's Band Radio and an all-leather interior. Vinyl roof excellent. The air conditioners cools very well. Improvements we have made include new front rotors & pads, new power brake booster, remanufactured carburetor and new ignition box. Detractors include some rust and dings typical to a car of its vintage. A previous owner of "Big Red" appears to have been a smoker and dropped some ashes which are shown in one of the pictures below. The little vent window on the driver's side rolls up with about a 1/4 inch gap to the seal. The cruise control works but doesn't hold firm and speeds up and slows down as you go. Included below are 48 pictures to give a good impression of the condition. We have owned it for a few years and stored it in the garage. Feel free to stop by and check it out. It is sold as-is. The buyer must pick it up or arrange transportation from Mount Pleasant, Michigan. We have all of the hubcaps. One of them wasn't on during the pictures.
