Rare & Very Original 1977 Pontiac True Trans Am - 5 Day Auction Sold To The Highest Bidder This is a 1977 Pontiac True Trans Am 403ci Posi that is original as they come. Sold new in Westminster, California and lived it's entire life out here in Los Angeles with the original Blue plates. The original lady owner recently sold it a few year's back to her mechanic that knew the car since the 80's. He had no intention's on selling and hid it away in his garage. Due to money issues, it is now up for sale for the very first time since 1977 . . . 5 Day's with No Reserve. Very rare to see a Trans Am in this sort of shape remaining the original paint & stripes. Brentwood Brown with the Gold striping and Gold Bird. Never been in any major accident or repainted, all factory body panels. The body is solid and clean, a great example of a California car. It is missing the passenger side rear spoiler near rear tire. The passenger door has slight damage due to coming to close to the garage. The moulding is still in place, so it was not a hard hit. Also, the quarther spoiler on the driver side was replace. The trunk is clean and remains unrestored with the factory space saver. Floors & undercarrige are clean and never been worked on. Other then that, it's original on the exterior, it show's just by looking at it. The interior is 100% bone stock except for the radio was replaced in the 80's. The factory gauges work including the Tach ( gas gauge a bit sticky ). The interior has normal wear but it's all original. Factory tilt with the original steering wheel in place. The driver bucket has need's work, so a cover is on it. Overall, it's complete and still in good shape for being stock. Remain's the factory 403ci V8 Automatic with Air condition / power steering. It show's 48xxx miles, not sure if it's turned over or not. The mechanic say's it was barley driven the last two decade's. It run's and drives so well, that it can be driven anywhere. Transmission shift's into all gears just fine. Does not overheat nor smoke. Has original posi that can burn some serious rubber. The original rally's still remain. Would make a great daily driver for someone. Sure, there are plenty of T.A's out there but how many are left around with it's unrestored? This is truly a honest Trans Am, never been abused. I would leave it the way it is, too hard to see a original paint T.A with all of it's striping. Grab's so much attention that it stop's traffic.
