Offering a beautiful 1953 Classic Chevy Belair Convertible at NO RESERVE! The highest bidder owns this jewel in the rough! This is an Arizona Convertible with no serious rust or water deterioration to speak of. If you notice carefully, the pictures show a small area with rust-through on the left rear floor pan and another in the trunk floor. These areas can be easily fixed with donor cut-out panels I acquired to make these repairs with original chevy tin. I started this project by first removing the drive-train, the interior and all trim. I then removed all electrical wiring to replace it with a new harness. This was followed by a plastic media blast inside out. Hundreds of man-hours and a small fortune have been expended to get the car to its current restoration status. Its all downhill from here. It wont take more than average mechanical skills to put this jewel back together. These old chevys are easy to work on. No complicated electrical systems or on-board computer to mess with. All you need is minor body work skills and simple mechanical old-school effort. I have spent the better part of two years acquiring all trim pieces and hard to find accessories. The metal on the top is sturdy and mechanically sound. My expenditure of time and money is your gain through this no reserve auction!
