1971 Corvette Stingray Vette Details: This beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Corvette still retains it's original 270HP 350 Engine. The block numbers match the VIN #. The odometer shows 87,000 miles with no smoke at start up. I'm not sure if anything has been done to the engine, but it has plenty of power. The only alteration to the engine is a Holley Four-Barrel Carb. I have the Original Rochester Carb which is included in this auction. It's mated to a automatic transmission that shifts very smoothly. I think it's a Turbo 400, but not positive. Options include Tilt Telescopic Steering Wheel, Power Steering, 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes, Power Windows, and working Air Conditioning. Air components have been replaced such as compressor and lines. The wiper door pops up as it should, and the headlight doors open and shut with no lazy issues. All lights work inside and out with the exception of the reverse lights? Turn signals and brake lights function properly including the license bulb. The interior is original and clean. All the gauges work including the Tach. I installed a new Tach cable. It has the pop out rear window along with T-Tops. The car has been painted at some point. The paint is perfect. An LT1 hood was added at that time to enhance this beautiful Vette. It has new emblems and new front and rear bumpers also the license plate bezel. The taillights have been buffed and look new. It sits on 8 inch Rally Wheels that have been repainted. The Rubber is Firestone Wide Ovals with plenty of Tread. The spare tire has been cleaned, painted and ready for a change if you need it. The jack has been oiled. The engine compartment is very clean and ready to show. The decals on the air cleaner and ac compressor are new. To sum it up this is a very clean Stingray that is pretty original. Check the pictures you will see I have included pictures of the trim plate and block numbers. You can jump in this car and drive anyplace you like in comfort this summer with working AC. You can be proud to take this to any car show or cruise. I have a clear Michigan title in hand.
