Vehicle Detail

Up for Auction is a 2007 Chevy Express 3500 Custom Cutaway Box Truck. VIN: 1GBJG31U271243398. This vehicle has never been in any accidents, hasn’t been smoked in, and has a clear title. I am the original owner. I purchased the truck on January 31, 2008. The vehicle is still covered under Chevy’s 3 year 36,000 mile regular warranty until January 31, 2011 or 36,000 Miles. It also has the 5 year 100,000 mile power-train warranty through Chevy until January 31, 2013 or 100,000 miles. This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty provided by myself, only what is provided by Chevy. To my knowledge everything on the truck is in excellent working order. The oil has been changed every 3,000 miles. The truck is in good condition as you can see by the pictures. It does have some minor scratches on the box due to tree limbs, which is very common on these trucks. No major scratches and no dents. This truck currently has 27,789 miles on it. It is being used daily to get me to and from work, so the mileage will still be under 28,500 by the time you pick it up. I used this vehicle as a work truck. Unfortunately soon after I purchased it, the main companies I had contracts with went out of business. I have finally started another career that does not require the use of this vehicle. So I am giving someone else the opportunity to get an awesome truck for half of what I paid. This truck was custom built to make working a lot easier and more enjoyable. It has a 14-foot long by 8-foot wide by 7-foot tall box with a 3-foot long by 8-foot wide by 3-foot deep attic. The front inside of the box was constructed to provide an extended-cab of 16 inches. This gives you a place to set your bags or a cooler. Clothes hanging rods were also installed in this extended cab to keep your clothes nice. An extra set of Yamaha speakers were also added in this area. The best part about this extended cab area is that you can sit your seat back and ride in comfort instead of riding straight up like most box trucks. There is a seat belt mounted in the extended cab area. I used the seat belt to hold my cooler in place. I do not know if the seat belt is safe or legal to be used for passengers. Seller is not responsible for use of extended cab seat belt. The rear box has 12 foot 8 inches of usable length left on the floor due to the extended cab. The attic however has more usable space due to the extended cab it has 4 foot 5 inches of usable length. The box is made out of double-sided FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plywood). This is not your standard cheap aluminum box. The Roof is one-piece aluminum that you are able to walk on. The floor is Pine 2x6’s, not cheap plywood. This truck was made with the intentions of it being in service for many years. The drivers-side of the box has a side door with an opening of 25.75 inches tall by 25.75 inches wide. It currently has a Yamaha YG4000D Generator with custom slides that slides out that door. The Generator and slides are not included in the auction price, but if the winner wants them I will sell the slides for $250 and the Generator for $750. The generator has a MSRP of $2,199. The box has a lot of structural aluminum racking-shelving and some steel and plywood racking-shelving in it currently as seen in the pictures. The racking-shelving is included in the auction. If the winning bidder does not want the racking- shelving, then I will have it removed from the box and deduct $600 from the ending auction price. The box also has a 1200- watt Motor Trend power inverter and an extra Optima red top battery installed in the attic area. It has a switch that allows you to connect to the trucks regular battery if needed. It also has a Whirlpool microwave mounted above the generator. The microwave can be powered by the generator or the inverter. The inverter is also great for recharging your drill batteries when you are on your way to the next job. The rear of the box has 2 large full width steps that make it easier to get in and out of the truck. The bottom step has a vise mounted to it. It also has a heavy-duty hitch that is built into the step and a round wiring plug-in for trailer lights. I have not pulled much with the truck, just a ski boat and a lawn mower trailer a few times. The radio was upgraded to a Panasonic in-dash cd player that also has AM-FM and Sirius Satellite Radio installed. The Sirius Radio is currently working, although I have cancelled my subscription so if you want to listen to Sirius you will need to start your own subscription after they turn it off. A Tom-Tom GPS touch-screen navigation system has been installed on the dash and has its own satellite antenna on the roof to pick up signals a lot faster. The truck also has a nice infrared night-vision color backup camera with speaker and color LCD monitor to make backing up easy. The truck also has power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, cruise control, cold ac, an automatic transmission, 6.0L gas engine and vinyl seats. The alarm system is also set to go off if the box doors are opened when it is armed. The original owners manual, 2 sets of keys and 2 alarm remotes and 2 sets of keys that open the locks that are on the box are all included in the auction. The rear box has 4 under-mount aluminum storage boxes. 2 of them are 2 foot wide by 18 inches tall by 18 inches deep. The other 2 are 4 foot wide by 18 inches tall by 18 inches deep. 2 keys are provided for these boxes as well. The wheels have stainless steel simulators and the tires are as scene in the photos. The rear wheels have 2-inch aluminum spacers in-between the wheels to keep them from rubbing if the pressure gets low or if you are carrying a heavy load. There is also a full size spare tire bolted to the underside of the box. This is a big benefit. Most box trucks don’t come with a spare. The title is currently held by GMAC and will be sent to you after I receive payment from you to pay off the loan. Please make sure that you have secure funding before bidding. I will accept money orders, cashiers checks, cash, and Paypal as forms of payment. I will not accept any personal checks. This is a no reserve auction so it could go for the opening price. If you have any questions or if you want to come see the truck before you bid, give me a call at 863-287-5929 or you can email me via Ebay. My name is John. The truck is located in Winter Haven, Florida. The buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping the vehicle. Good luck bidding.
