Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a 1992 325i Mauritius Blue Pearl E36 Sedan that has been upgraded with parts from a 1995 BMW M3 and 1998 BMW M3 Sedan; BMW’s ultimate driving machine. This BMW started off as a midnight pearl blue 1992 E36 325i chassis (50/50 weight ratio). The entire vehicle has been upgraded to M3 status. The engine is a 3.0L 95 M3 S50 motor installed at 106K miles, the transmission is a ZF 95 M3 5-Speed. The differential is a 3.15 LSD (US 95 M3). The exterior and interior is from a 1998 4dr E36 M3 Sedan. In 2007 this E36 won 3rd place in the European section of the Nopi Nationals car show in Atlanta, GA (see pictures). The car currently has 146K miles and is in perfect mechanical order. The title has a salvaged history (accident in 1995) but was repaired (1996)... and reinstated as clean. The body needs some TLC due to a very recent mishap (read below). Here is a detailed list of the main upgrades / maintenance performed on the car: /// 95 M3 LTW S50 Motor [installed at 106K miles] /// Engine upgrade: New seals, New Cometic MLS head gasket, ARP struts [130K] (can support a stage 1 or stage 2 turbo setup ~500hp) /// M3 5-speed M3 ZF Transmission [installed at 106K miles] /// 95' M3 3.15 Ratio LSD Differential [installed at 106K miles] /// Brushed Aluminum Valve Cover [installed at 130K] /// Intake with K&N Filter [replaced every 15K miles] /// ZKW HID Headlights [installed at 110K miles] /// E36 Stage 2 Chip for Euro MAF (moves redline, eliminates limiter, and adds about 20hp by remapping the A/F ratio) [installed at 106K miles] /// Shaved Door Handles / 10 function alarm [installed at 110K miles] /// DTM BMW Exhaust [installed at 106K miles] /// Bilstine Yellow Struts in the front [installed at 110K miles] /// Koni Blue shocks in the rear [installed at 110K miles] /// Eibach Sport Springs 1.5" lower [installed at 110K miles] /// B&M Stage 3 Short Shifter [installed at 125K miles] /// 3" EURO MAF [installed at 106K miles] /// AC Shnitzer Strut Bar [installed at 106K miles] /// Zimmerman Xdrilled Rotors [installed at 125K miles] /// Kevlar Brake Pads [installed at 125K miles] /// Braided SS Brake lines [installed at 125K miles] /// Sachs Stage 2 Clutch Kit [installed at 106K miles] /// BMW M3 Aluminum Racing Pedals /// Upgraded Metal Impeller Water Pump (fix overheat problem) [installed at 110K miles] /// New Radiator (fix overheat problem) [installed at 110K miles] /// 17" Competition LTW rims (staggered) [installed at 106K miles] > front tires (225/45/17) [have 8/10 tread left] > rear tires (245/40/17) [have 7/10 tread left] /// Red/White Tail Lights [installed at 110K miles] /// $2k Factory (Midnight Blue) Paint , wet sand / buffed, etc. [done at 110K miles] /// 25% Tinted Windows [installed at 110K miles] /// 1998 BMW M3 Sedan Interior (Dash, Center Console, Door Seals, Door Panels) [installed at 125K miles] /// 1998 BMW M3 Sedan Exterior Trim (Front/Rear bumpers, Side Skirts, Mirrors, Rear Wing, Door Moldings) [installed at 125K miles] /// Leather Powered Seats [installed at 135K miles] /// JVC EXAD multi-color Touch-screen CD Player [installed at 145K miles] Over the past 5 years a total of close to $20K has been invested in the car… The story of the damage in the back and the front bumper saddens me and is the main reason I am selling the car. I came home tired, parked the car on a 98% flat driveway and walked away leaving the car in neutral. A few hours later I found the car “parked” in the woods with the back against a tree. The car has no scratches or damages on the sides from this incident. The car has served me very well and I have never had a mechanical problem with it since the engine was rebuilt last August (2009). This really is the ultimate driving machine of the ‘90’s. The goal of the MLS Head Gasket with APR Head Studs is to make this car an ideal platform for the strongest of turbo kits on the market. It can handle 500+ hp safely similar setups have achieved up to 1000hp. I am very picky/meticulous ...so I will do my best to fully describe all known problems/flaws: > Some of the paint is chipped in the areas where the door handles used to be on all but the driver side door. This happened because my passagers would close the door with their hip and the bondo/metal plate would flex causing cracks in the paint over time. > The doors open on remote. I had a 5ch remote controlling all 4 doors but I lost it. I am using the secondary remote which is only programmed to open the driver side door (not enough channles to control the others) A 5ch remote can be purchased online for $50 giving you the option too open all 4 doors via remote. > The interior has been changed from a ’92 325i dark blue one to a ’98 M3 black interior. It looks well; however a few details were missed in the process... the rear bench looks bad, the A-pillars are faded, and the sun-roof motor cover clips are broken so it does not stay on the headliner (easy fix). > Driver-side mirror, and rear speakers dont get power. > Sun-roof motor is missing (the sunroof is mint, headliner is new, just need a motor) > A/C needs to be recharged (it works fine). As you can see, this is a high performance sports car which has a lot to offer but needs a fare amount of TLC (tender love and care). Feel free to ask questions. I will try to answer them. If you are in the ATL area feel free to email me and lets meet up; The car is registered, insured and 100% driveable! Pictures honestly don't do it justice ... come see how sweet this baby is in real life! .
