You are looking at 1976 mercedes benz 450sl convertible with both: Hard top and Soft top. The car starts and drives We let the car idle for about 20 minutes, didn't see any leaking or overheating. I took it for a drive (about 30 miles) in town and on the freeway and it drove fine. Sometimes I heard some brake squeaking on the rear but the car stops just fine. This car is located in Escondido California (30 miles north of San Diego) The interior is complete and all the glass is there with no cracks. The driver seat has a tear on the bolster side. I do see a few bubbles of rust on the hood, trunk and one of the fender (nothing major). Tires are in good condition with about 85% left. Once again the car was road tested on the freeway at around 70 miles per hour and it felt fine. A few squeaks here and there. The soft top is ok, the plastic windows are in place except for the left one. The results were excellent raging from 160 to 166 psi per cylinder. The mechanic said that it is excellent compression for this engine. I have pictures of each cylinder test.Left head(driver side) readings from front to back 165psi 160 psi 161 psi and 162 psi. Passenger head from front to back 163psi 166psi 163psi 164 psi. I guarantee that the test is accurate and those are actual readings on the compression test. Mechanic's invoice with test results will be provided.
