1968 Triumph Spitfire MK 3 Convertible. This Triumph drives great and the engine runs great! It has a clean and clear title. I have been driving the car here and there since it began to get warm out. This Triumph has started it's restoration with a rebuilt engine, new tires, new shocks, a new generator, new battery, new brakes and a new fuel pump. ( I also have an extra brand new generator.) The car starts great and idles beautiful. I also have a couple boxes of spare parts and books I got with the car as the pictures will show. The front of the frame has been stripped and coated and the engine has been restored and painted. Under the bonnet (hood) looks great! As far as the body goes, there is a very minimal amount of rust as the pictures will show. There is a quarter sized hole in the trunk floor, and a little bit in the driver side floor panel but very minimal and easily fixable. It has all the original chrome moldings and emblems, all are in great shape with no pitting or rusting I can find. You can either leave the car the way it is for a dependable fun driver or finish the restoration with a paint job and new top ( there are some small tears in the top that can be stitched or replaced. the rear window is good) The upholstery and door panels are original and in good shape in my opinion other than the driver seat has a wear spot from sliding in and out that would be easily fixed. The gauges are there, but the fuel gauge, rpm, and speedometer are not working. the temp gauge does work. the lights and blinkers work, what is left to do accessory wise is the wipers and horn as they are not working. The parking brake does not work also. The car is currently inside my showroom and shows no sign of leaks. I am putting the reserve very low to ensure the car will sell with this listing.
