Vehicle Detail
1999 Toyota Avalon XLS - Platinum Series NO RESERVE Auction - high bidder wins. Up for auction is my daily driver for the last 4 years, a 1999 Toyota Avalon, with high miles, but well taken care of, and plenty of miles left. I commute 90 hi-way miles one way, not in stop & go traffic, but in country backroads. Vehicle History shows vehicle had Frame Damage at 40,000 miles but I have personally put 140,000 miles on this vehicle since I purchased it (on E-bay) with no problems. Cold A/C, No leaks. Nice interior, nice body for the age. This engine and tranny run like they were new. Regular Oil changes. Quiet and smooth. This car is very comfortable. 2 new tires in front, rear at about 30% tread. All the power options, and everything works well. Timing belt has been changed. Tinted windows, CD/Tape/AM/FM stereo. Perforated & heated leather seats, nice and cool in the summer, and warm in the winter. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction early. Known issues: slight vibration in RF tire at high speeds, worse when braking. Needs a brake job.paint peeling on driver door at top, along with small rust spot at bottom (see photos) paint peeling on rear bumper (see photos)Bid with confidence, please see my 100% positive feedback. I am honest to a fault. On May-24-10 at 12:15:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Two additional issues to point out: Door fabric is coming loose on passenger front door - see photo Gas tank needs to be filled slowly - if you put the pump on full rate, it tends to shut off the gas pump. My mechanic spent 5 hours trying to troubleshoot this, unsuccessfully. Apologies for the late issues. If you want to cancel your bid, I will agree to.
