Fresh out of the barn! 1950 Pilot House Dodge truck. Even if you're not a MOPAR fan, you can't help but take a 2nd look at one of few survivors that has made it through 60 years unmolested. This truck is 95% original, that includes the flathead 6 cylinder and a 3 speed on the tree transmission. All new windows with new rubber moldings that roll up and down, including wing windows that open easily, both doors shut tight, inside is clean, no rust. There are 2 small torn areas on the seat. 6 volt system was converted to 12 volt with stop and turn lights added. Radio is mounted under the dash, speaker is in the original location with a chrome cover. Radio has a power retractable antennae. Has chrome spotlight. Truck starts, runs and drives. All gauges work, except for gas hand that stopped reading a few months ago. Heater blows hot, still has vacuum wipers. Originally purchased in Alabama, I purchased it from a gentleman who's uncle bought it brand new. Odometer reads around 60, 000 miles and I believe that to be accurate. The state of Alabama has no title law before 1974, the truck is currently registered and can show proof of ownership. I have a vintage classic antique tag that in Alabama stays with the truck for life. I will issue a notarized bill of sale to winner of this bid. I would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere, day or night. The only thing this classic Dodge needs is a paint job and new home. Foot controlled starter rebuilt last year.
