I bought this car over 10 years ago for my son when he was learning to drive. The manual 4 speed was not such a good idea for a beginning driver. Maybe I secretly bought it for me, this car is a blast to drive. I haven't driven or even registered it for a few years now, time to let it go. Lots of things work fine, lots of things don't. It starts right up and drives and shifts fine, but the body and interior has suffered from just sitting around outside. The top is newer than the car, goes up easily and there is a cover that snaps on over the top when you are leaving it down. The trunk was broken into when I drove it to NYC a few years ago, and I never replaced the lock or did the body work around the lock or anywhere else on the car, for that matter. This car could be restored or used for parts, either way there is a lot of value here. I am selling the car "as is" and "where is" and without reserve above my 250 dollar starting price. I really just want the space instead of this cool little car;I have four other vehicles and not that big a place. Happy to show the car to any prospective buyers if you give me a call in advance of your visit. It will be the buyers responsibility to transport the car from here; if you get temporary plates, the car is fine for you to drive, but I do not have insurance on it, nor is it registered currently.
