This vehicle comes to us from unclaimed storage. It is still parked at the same storage facility where we purchased it in Grand Terrace, in Riverside County, California. While it apppears to be mostly complete, this is a project vehicle. It's had lots of work done to it over the years, and more will be needed. It's been sitting in this same spot for years. It will need work to be ready for the road. Please read the entire description and view all of the photos and the video to know exactly what you are considering purchasing... no one wants to be disappointed, including me. This vehicle was already parked at the storage facility for a couple of years when the present owner of the facility bought the property 3 years ago. No record of the tenant for this storage space was found... just the truck. After waiting for a long time for someone to show up and pay back rent and claim the truck, the present owner went through the lien sale process with the California DMV to get the right to sell the vehicle. We purchased the vehicle from the storage facility, and offer it to you here on Ebay. Click the video below to see see a 7 minute video walk-around tour of this truck. Remember, you can pause or replay any part of the video: Outside the truck, there are dings and scratches evident and a couple of dents... I have pointed out the worst flaws in the photos and video, but you get the idea... it's not perfect. The glass is missing from both vent windows, and the windshield has cracks. The doors open and close ok. We have no keys. One tire is trashed, and the others need air and look weathered and will need replacing. There is surface rust evident here and there and a hole at the back bottom of the cab as shown in the video. The exterior needs a good wash, but is not too terribly bad. The interior is very dirty like the outside. Bucket seats have been installed. The dash has wires hanging from underneath. The floors and door frames and steps on both side look very solid and I see only surface oxidation there. The bed area looks ok at first glance, but there's plywood laying over the original flooring and that original flooring is decayed and missing in sections. Some of the metal strips in between the wood flooring is rusted badly. The hood opens and closes crooked and I suspect a bad hinge (or both of them). There is no hood latch. The engine appears to be a Chevy 350 with an automatic trans which all looks good from the outside, but you guys will know more about this by looking at the photos than I would. We have checked absolutely none of the systems on this truck... engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, etc. This is being sold completely as-is. I could go on and on in words describing what I see, but I really advise checking the photos and video to get a good feel for this project. ABOUT BIDDING and PICKING UP: I'm paying rent at this facility and it's not cheap. This auction ends on Friday, May 28th. YOU MUST HAVE THE TRUCK REMOVED FROM THE FACILITY BY SATURDAY, JUNE 5th. If you think you won't be able to do that, please refrain from bidding. I just don't have any extra time on this one... if you commit to buy, you have to follow through. Thanks for understanding... it's important. ABOUT THE TITLE AND REGISTRATION: This vehicle comes with lein sale paperwork (from the storage facility to me), and a bill of sale (from me to you). The registration is behind as shown in the photos, and the buyer will need to deal with that. ABOUT PREVIEWING BEFORE BIDDING: I strongly suggest that. For those people wanting to inspect this item before the auction ends, I have set up a trip to the storage facility on Wednesday, May 26 at 1pm. Anyone who wants to see this can come at that time.
